What is their background?

They have recently formed after working previously together in other musical situations. But individually all members have over 5 years experience performing at weddings, corporate events and private parties for clients such as the BBC, MTV, Nokia, Sky as well as for various banks.


What is their image?

The band dress according to the occasion. For more formal events they will wear suits or they can dress more casually if necessary.


What type of music do they play?

Their extensive repertoire covers most of the big tunes from the 50's to modern day. They will adapt their set according to the occasion so that regardless of age or taste everyone will be up singing and dancing all night.

Please Note: If a particular song is requested that is not included in their repertoire, then the band are prepared to learn it for a £50 fee.


How long will they play for?

You can choose from 2 x 45 minute sets, 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 minute sets. In addition, the band can also provide a set of acoustic songs, specifically tailored for drinks receptions or during dinner. Karma Kabaret can provide everything you need for an all-day event, being able to provide music for every scenario, be it a low key acoustic set or a full on rock'n' roll spectacular!


How much space do they need and how long do they take to set up?

The band has a four-piece line up, and need only a stage space of 5 x 4 metres. From arrival to being set-up the band need 45 minutes to an hour, depending on how easy it is to load into the venue. They will also need to change into their attire for the performance. They do understand the need for discreet sound-checks and are very adaptable to a range of room types and will always adjust volume levels to suit your requirements.


Do they have good equipment?

Yes they have top quality equipment, which is compact yet powerful enough for any occasion. Two lighting rigs so there is full stage lighting as well as disco lighting for the dance floor. The bands equipment is as follows:

From the moment the band is booked, they will take the time to ensure that you are completely satisfied both in the weeks and months prior to the event and before and during the performance on the day. The band will be only too happy to deal with any queries, concerns or requests that you may have to ensure that your event runs smoothly and that all technical requirements are met in full. They will also be happy to speak directly to the venue to discuss the event.
